Let's Start With the Causes of Tendinitis

Tendinitis, also seen as Tendonitis, is caused by damage to a tendon, resulting in pain and inflammation. Tendinitis is not limited to one area of the body and can affect tendons in the feet, shoulders, elbows, hands, and knees. This is especially common in athletes due to repetitive damage and strain.

In the feet, tendinitis can manifest in four different forms: Achilles Tendinitis, Peroneal Tendinitis, Posterior Tibial Tendinitis, and Tendinitis of the Extensors and Toe Flexors.

Here Is How Tendinitis
AffectsYour Feet
Achilles Tendinitis
This overuse injury is marked by sharp pain at the back of the leg and in the heel. This is caused by damage to the Achills tendon. This form of tendinitis can cause the Achilles tendon to become weak and may lead to rupturing of the tissue.
Peroneal Tendinitis
Pain from this condition is felt on the outside of the foot and lower leg as well as behind the ankle bone. Those with high arches and regular runners are at high risk of developing Peroneal Tendinitis. Swelling often accompanies this condition.
Posterior Tibial Tendinitis
This is a common cause of foot and ankle pain, resulting from a torn or inflammed posterior tibial tendon. This pain is felt on the inside or outside edges of the foot and can cause the arch to collapse or become unstable.
Tendinitis of the Toe Flexors and extensors
The extensor tendons are responsible for the movement of your toes. This form of tendinitis involves inflammation of these tendons, pain felt on the top of your foot, and stiffness or weakness in the forefoot.

WHAT ARE YOUR NEXT STEPS FOR TENDINITIS RELIEF?

FROM AT-HOME SOLUTIONS TO DAILY ON-THE-GO PRACTICES,
WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU FIND SUCCESSFUL RELIEF.

1. don't over-exercise.
Listen to your body! Pain during exercise is a natural indicator of strain. Rather than pushing through your exercise and causing further damage, allow your body to rest.

Low-impact exercises like swimming and cycling can help you to break a sweat without further inflammation or pain.
2. stretch out tension in your tendons.
Stretching alleviates pain and tension in your tendons, and it also promotes healthy healing of your tissues.

Calf stretches, towel stretches, and lunging stretches can help relieve pressure in your feet and lower legs. The Healing Sole also provides a gentle, active stretch throughout the day.
3. Alternate Heat and ice.
Alternating hot and cold compresses can help to reduce swelling and pain in the feet.
        • Wrap an ice bag in a towel and apply it to the affected area for 10-15 minutes.
        • Hot towels, heating pads, or rice bags can be used for 20-30 minutes at a time.
        • Repeat multiple times a day!
4. rest and elevate your feet.
Taking time to rest and prop your feet up allows your tissues to heal.

If possible, stay off your feet for a few days for plenty of recovery time, and slowly reintroduce activity to avoid painful flare-ups.
5. Use Anti-inflammatory Supplements.
Tendinitis can cause the affected area to become inflamed. Natural anti-inflammatory ingredients and supplements can help to alleviate this pain!

Reach for supplements with ginger, tart cherry, palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), and Omega-3's - just to name a few natural inflammation fighters.

NATURAL PAIN RELIEF IS POSSIBLE

DR. WARNER ENCOURAGES YOU TO SELF-TREAT YOUR FOOT PAIN AT HOME, FIRST, BEFORE RESORTING TO INJECTIONS, SURGERY
OR OTHER RISKY TREATMENT OPTIONS.

Clinically Proven to Work for Over 80% of Patients

Dr. Warner has spent her career helping those with foot pain as an orthopedic surgeon. Along her path, she realized that the current standard of care for foot pain like plantar fasciitis was falling short. Patients were coming to her tired of seeing multiple doctors and scheduling endless appointments only to end up having to pay hundreds of dollars for painful injections or even surgery.

Dr. Warner knew there had to be a better way. So, The Healing Sole was born. It gives you an Orthopedic Surgeon's approved treatment option that you can try at home, FIRST.

It works as you walk. A simple concept for sure but so very effective. Dr. Warner conducted a clinical trial that was accepted into the Southern Orthopedic society meeting. The results were exciting. 80% of the patients experienced pain relief and/or improvement in function. If they don't work for you, we'll take them back.
