WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MIGRAINE HEADACHES

A migraine is a headache that can result in severe pain, usually one one side of the head.

This pain can be so severe that it induces nausea, impacts vision, and causes extreme sensitivity to light and sound.

If your migraines are chronic and recurring, you know exactly how debilitating they can be.

Today, we’re sharing the facts about migraine headaches – what causes them, what you can do to avoid them, and what natural alternatives you can use to relieve the pain when it strikes.

THE STAGES OF MIGRAINE HEADACHES
PRODROME
A couple days before a migraine, you may notice subtle warning signs, including wide mood swings, food cravings, stiffness in the neck, fluid retention, frequent yawning, constipation, and increased urination.
MIGRAINE AURAS
A warning sign of a migraine is what’s called an “aura.” It can include disruption in vision, like flashes of light or blind/blurry spots. You may also feel a tingling on one side of the face or have difficulty gathering your thoughts.
ATTACK
This is when your symptoms are most severe. Migraines can last from 4 to 72 hours. You’ll feel pain on one or both sides of the head or both sides, sensitivity to light and sound, and even nausea and vomiting.
POST-DROME
After a migraine attack, you may feel physically and mentally drained and fatigued for up to 24 hours and need to rest. If you move or stand up too quickly, it could briefly trigger a return of the migraine pain.

THE BEST WAYS TO PREVENT MIGRAINE ATTACKS

AT THE HEALING SOLE, OUR GOAL IS TO HELP YOU CURATE A LIFE LIVED WELL
- IN A LASTING, HOLISTIC WAY.

1. AVOID LOUD NOISES AND BRIGHT LIGHTS
Migraines can often be triggered by loud sounds and bright lights. Some well-known triggers are driving at night, being in movie theaters, or walking in sunlight without sunglasses. You should also wear blue light glasses when you have to stare at a computer screen.
2. Reconsider Your Diet
Certain foods and drinks may trigger these headaches, like processed meats, chocolate, artificial sweeteners, alcohol, and cheese. Learn what foods and additives trigger your migraines and limit your intake – or avoid these foods altogether.
3. TAKE NOTES
One of the best ways to avoid future occurrences is to avoid them in the first place. When you start noticing signs and symptoms of a migraine, start taking notes of what you ate, what your environment looks like, and how much sleep you’ve been getting.
4. REACH FOR NATURAL OPTIONS FOR RELIEF
The most common recommendations for migraine relief are NSAID pain relievers, but these medications can have harmful side effects. Try using a natural alternative, like PEA, to relieve the pain without harsh chemicals.

Clinically Proven to Work for Over 80% of Patients

Dr. Warner has spent her career helping those with foot pain as an orthopedic surgeon. Along her path, she realized that the current standard of care for foot pain like plantar fasciitis was falling short. Patients were coming to her tired of seeing multiple doctors and scheduling endless appointments only to end up having to pay hundreds of dollars for painful injections or even surgery.

Dr. Warner knew there had to be a better way. So, The Healing Sole was born. It gives you an Orthopedic Surgeon's approved treatment option that you can try at home, FIRST.

It works as you walk. A simple concept for sure but so very effective. Dr. Warner conducted a clinical trial that was accepted into the Southern Orthopedic society meeting. The results were exciting. 80% of the patients experienced pain relief and/or improvement in function. If they don't work for you, we'll take them back.
