Unlock Optimal Aging Benefits At A Cellular Level
Dr. Meredith Warner’s new Longevity series has been curated to help unlock your ability to slow aging and possibly reduce your biological age. Resveratrol improves cellular health, stress resistance, metabolic health, mitochondrial biogenesis, and much more!
- Optimal Aging: reduces the risk of several age-related conditions
- Mitochondrial Health: increases AMPK activation to improve energy levels and boost mitochondrial function and health
- Brain Function: reduces neuroinflammation that can contribute to brain-related problems and conditions
- Anti-inflammatory: reduces inflammation response throughout the body
“I am very pleased with the item. I have used the rocker bottom flip flops for 2 years, and they have been the only thing I tried that helped with plantar fasciitis. I was excited when the Emerson came out because I can wear my normal socks with them. I tried flip flop socks, but they are not as comfortable as regular socks and the Emerson is perfect for wearing inside with socks in the winter.”
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Can Resveratrol boost my metabolism?
A: Resveratrol can act as a metabolism regulator by increasing insulin sensitivity and reducing blood glucose levels. This supplement allows the body to respond better to insulin and prevents the liver from creating more glucose. Weight loss while taking Resveratrol is achievable through stimulating metabolism, lowering blood sugar, reducing appetite, and increasing energy levels. This is of course best paired with a healthy, active lifestyle. Obviously, a healthy diet is always beneficial.
Q: Does Resveratrol really combat aging?
A: Resveratrol increases AMPK activation, which has been proven to reduce the effects of aging on the body’s cells. AMPK acts as a cellular energy sensor. When activated AMPK restores energy homeostasis.
Q: What Is AMPK?
A: AMPK or AMP-activated protein kinase is a phylogenetically conserved fuel-sensing enzyme. AMPK is found in every cell and serves as one of the main homeostasis regulators. Some call AMPK the ‘master regulator’ of metabolic health. AMPK naturally activates in response to decreased energy levels and an increase in AMP: ATP and ADP: ATP ratios.
Recent studies have shown that with age AMPK activation and responsiveness decrease. This has contributed to poor metabolic regulation and the plummeting health with increased age. Promising results in longevity research demonstrate that through increased AMPK activation metabolic health improves, oxidative stress decreases, and life spans (with healthspan) increase.
Q:Does Resveratrol improve heart health?
A: Yes, Resveratrol’s anti-inflammatory effects lower the risk of blood clotting, lowers LDL, and raises HDL cholesterol levels reducing the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
Q: How Does Resveratrol Improve cellular health?
A: Sirtuin activation powers the body to regulate mitochondrial function and orchestrate new mitochondrial growth, improving cellular function and vitality. This process can lower your biological age.
Q: What are sirtuins?
A: Sirtuins (silent mating type information regulation) are a group of proteins that are involved in regulating cellular homeostasis and metabolic processes. These are conserved molecules, meaning they are present in most living creatures and have been involved in our evolution. There are 7 known Sirtuins.
Sirtuins were first discovered in the 1970s during yeast mating experiments. Scientists in the 1990s later discovered that yeast with higher levels of SIR2 proteins had longer lifespans by as much as 70%. This discovery prompted further research into the possible anti-aging benefits of increasing sirtuins in other organisms. These are now thought to be possible anti-aging epigenetic regulators.
Sirtuins are found in the nucleus (1,2,3,6,7), the cytoplasms (1,2) and in the mitochondria (3,4,5).
