Resveratrol:

Why this orthopedic surgeon recommends adding it to your routine

Hi, Dr. Meredith Warner here:

Let me give a quick introduction before we dive into Resveratrol. I am an orthopedic surgeon, Air Force veteran, and founder of Well Theory.

The supplements I make for Well Theory are the same supplements I’ve recommended to my patients for years. I want them, and now you, to experience the functional and lifestyle improvements that come with the right diet, exercise and supplemented nutrition.

With every Well Theory product I create, I’m able to share these solutions with more people, and not just my patients.

RESVERATROL – NEW!

I’ve added the antioxidant-rich supplement Resveratrol to my Well Theory line-up because it’s been shown to lower inflammation, improve pain caused by inflammation, and improve energy levels at the cellular level.

Studies show that Resveratrol can slow down the effects of aging through Sirtuin and AMPK activation. Resveratrol is packed with ways to help improve your longevity and day-to-day function.

"Resveratrol is shown to upregulate Sirtuin-1 and to increase longevity that way. It improves cognition, reduces episodes of cognitive decline, reduces deposition of abnormal proteins in the body and the brain, and more."

Dr. Meredith Warner, Orthopedic Surgeon

Resveratrol can be found in the skin of grapes (as well as red wine), but not in large concentrations. You’d have to eat a lot of grapes or drink an unhealthy amount of wine to consume the same amount found in my supplements.

“Resveratrol provides many amazing benefits to the body. That’s why I’m so passionate about getting the word out, and sharing this supplement with you.” – Dr. Meredith Warner

Resveratrol:

combat aging + revitalize cells + improve heart health

I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve the quality and longevity (HOW WELL & HEALTHY YOU AGE) of my patients’ lives (that includes you). Resveratrol is a piece of that puzzle.

When someone takes a Resveratrol supplement, they’re helping their body in a number of ways. The first is through AMPK activation. AMPK senses energy levels within the cell, which in turn helps your cells achieve an optimal energy balance.

AMPK is also shown to slow down aging at the cellular level, along with Sirtuin proteins – also activated by Resveratrol. Sirtuins are proteins that regulate the body as well, in a number of ways that include your stress response, metabolism and aging.

It also works to increase insulin sensitivity, therefore lowering blood glucose levels. This can contribute to your metabolic health, as well as overall heart health.

It can reduce inflammation and lower “bad” cholesterol levels while improving levels of “good” cholesterol – making it a supplement worth taking to heart.

“Resveratrol revitalizes cells, so you can feel revitalized as well.”

LOWER INFLAMMATION

how the antioxidant properties of resveratrol reduces inflammation

Resveratrol is also an antioxidant supplement. This means it’s able to neutralize free radicals that can lead to chronic inflammation and oxidative stress.

When the body’s levels of free radicals, produced by foods and pollutants, outnumber the body’s available antioxidants, you enter what’s referred to as oxidative stress.

Oxidative stress can lead to cell damage or even death. This triggers the body’s inflammatory response, which can lead to painful diseases like arthritis, cancer, heart disease and other noncommunicable diseases.

Taking Resveratrol not only provides antioxidants, but it also encourages the body to produce more of its own antioxidants over time. The body doesn’t produce as many antioxidants as you get older, which makes supplementing with antioxidants all the more necessary in maintaining longevity.

RESVERATROL and the longevity series

“My goal is to help people age better, age fitter, and enjoy their old age. We’re all going to get old. You can’t stop that."

Meredith Warner, MD

Whether I’m talking to patients in my private practice, or talking to you over social media and on my site, I maintain the same goal. I want to spread awareness about natural treatment methods and lifestyle changes that can enable anyone to lead a long, and productive life.

That’s why I developed my Longevity Series for Well Theory. It includes Resveratrol, Berberine, and NMN – all supplements aimed at working for you at the cellular level.

It’s nearly impossible to get all the antioxidants and nutrients we need, even with the best diet. And let’s be honest, we all slip up at times.

But I don’t want you to feel like you’re too late to the game.

I’ve only recently discovered the power of positive lifestyle changes and supplements like Resveratrol, but I feel better than I did in my thirties.

At any point, you can decide to make changes for the better. Let today be that day.

How TO GET RESULTS WITH NATURAL MEDICINE

  1. Have a mindset of wellness over time: Don’t Expect It To Feel Like A Synthetic Drug. The timeline for better health with natural medicine is longer than with synthetic pharmaceuticals.
  2. Addressing Root Cause: Natural remedies attempt to address the root causes, or the cellular beginnings of a given problem, pain, or inflammation. Naturally, this will take a bit longer and be less noticeable initially. But the results are wonderful.
  3. Few Known Side Effects: My Well Theory products are formulated with higher doses of plant-based ingredients to deliver steady results over time – without the harmful side effects found in traditional pharmaceutical applications.
  4. Get Blood Work Done: There are inflammatory markers you can check to determine your progress.
  5. I Take Everything We Make: I wholeheartedly believe in the power of natural supplements.
